Physical Therapy American Fork
I received my education at the University of Utah and am currently working as a physical therapist with a focus on orthopedics. I have been practicing orthopedics for nine years. Following a complicated soccer injury in high school that almost resulted in the amputation of my lower leg, I had little hope of returning to sports or running again. I found myself in physical therapy for the following year, where I was able to regain mobility and function that exceeded my expectations. That experience has motivated me to help the patients I work with by creating individualized plans of care that will allow them to return to their best level of function, whether that's lifting a grandchild or getting back to sports. I grew up in Washington, and although I sometimes miss the greenery, I love the sun that Utah has to offer. I enjoy spending time with my husband and our four children—hiking, playing outside, and watching movies. When I'm not busy with my kids, you can find me baking, running, gardening, and brushing up on Harry Potter trivia.
